After some direction from Emma and a bit of reworking we are ready to show some of our Time range. Here is the final version of the time pendant. It’s sterling silver with a deep red cabochon ruby, rub over set, on top of the central hub.
From the prototype the central hub and the arms have been given a lighter and more delicate feel which enhances the different crossing forms possible from twisting each one in different directions over the other. The chain is also held on a separate arm designed to isolate and give more freedom to the oscillating shapes. Really, the whole thing has been refined with a great result!

This is another movable piece with the central hub placed off center to the concentric circles of each arm. This changes the dynamic of the design enabling the wearer to change the configuration into a much more messy state. I love the way this works! the only problem is you have to play with it to really understand all the enjoyment! It’s very difficult to get the design across when its on show in your average gallery plinth, without fetching it out, and moving it!!! This one is also set with a green tourmaline. I have written these up as prototypes as there is already so much i want to change for the next one…The busiest week of the year and i was struck with flu! That stopped production entirely for two days and made it impossible to even push a file! I’m glad to be back on with work now with still time to fit in all my commitments before the big dead line!!!
Here are a couple of large silver claw settings made for a clients random stones about the size of a two pence piece. I think one of them is an ametrine?!
